पहचान- जिन वाक्यों के अंत में रहा है रही है रहे हैं आदि शब्द आते हैं वह प्रेजेंट कंटीन्यूअस टेंस कहलाता है।

IS/ARE/AM+Subject + ing form of verb +object ?
Is =singular
Are =plural
Am =I (with itself )
क्या माता जी खाना पका रही है ?
Is the mother cooking the food ?
क्या धोबी कपड़े  धो रहा है ?
Is the washerman washing the clothes?
क्या मीरा गीत  गा रही है ?
Is Meera   singing the song ?
क्या मुकेश पत्र  लिख रहा है ?
Is Mukesh  writing the letter ?
क्या चपरासी घंटी  बजा रहा है ?
Is the peon  ringing the bell ?
क्या माली फूल  तोड़ रहा है ?

Subject + is/are/am +not+ ing form of verb +object.
Is =singular
Are =plural
Am =I (with itself )
माता जी खाना नहीं पका रही है
The mother is not cooking the food.
धोबी कपड़े नहीं धो रहा है
The washerman is  not washing the clothes.
मीरा गीत नहीं गा रही है
Meera is  not singing the song.
मुकेश पत्र  नहीं लिख रहा है
Mukesh is  not writing the letter.
चपरासी घंटी नहीं बजा रहा है
The peon is not ringing the bell. 
माली फूल नहीं तोड़ रहा है
